Las Vegas Hotel Wedding Chapel Packages
Although Las Vegas is known for its quickie marriages – thanks to the no-wait marriage license policy and the ease with which you can find a street-side wedding chapel – you can also plan a trip to Vegas for the sole purpose of getting married. Many people turn to one of the area hotels for an elegant wedding package; here the choices are varied and extensive.
Prices at these hotel chapels run the gamut from just a few hundred dollars to several thousand. Most hotel chapel wedding packages will include the ceremony, flowers, a stay in one of the hotel’s rooms and photography or a DVD of the ceremony. Remember that most hotel chapel packages do not include a reception. If you want a reception, you have to arrange that separately and at additional cost.
Let’s highlight a few hotel packages:
Aladdin Hotel & Casino – Most of the wedding packages here are named after famous songs, so you might get the “Magic Carpet Ride” wedding package or the “From This Moment” package. At the Aladdin, the “I Do” package is the most basic and it includes: the ceremony in a small chapel, a wedding coordinator, wedding music, a bride’s bouquet, a groom’s boutonniere, 12 4 x 6 photos and up to 12 guests. This package only costs $399 Sunday through Thursday, and $499 Friday and Saturday.
Luxor Hotel & Casino – Here you can choose from four different wedding packages: The Diamonds of the Nile, The Emeralds of the Queen, Sapphires of the East, or the Lady of the Rubies. Ceremonies are held either in a chapel that seats 60 or one that seats 100. If you choose the Diamonds of the Nile ceremony, your cost is $1,425 and includes: about one hour in the chapel; bouquets for the bride and bridesmaid, and two boutonnieres for the men; a photo package and album; a DVD of the ceremony; a bottle of champagne and two champagne flutes; and one night in a spa room.
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino – There are also four wedding packages to choose from here: Diamond Lights, Platinum Skies, Opal Shores, and Crystal Waters. The most basic of the four packages is Crystal Waters coming in at $675, Sunday through Thursday. It includes a small bouquet for the bride, a small boutonniere for the groom, 12 4 x 6 pictures, bridal garter, bottle of champagne, and a pianist. If you want to spend a little more, you can upgrade just one notch to the Opal Shores package, which costs $1,150 and includes the same as above, except you get a larger photo package and champagne flutes.
Circus Circus – At this Circus-themed hotel/casino, you can choose from several wedding packages that include “The Big Top” and “Center Ring”. Prices range from $175 for a standard wedding that includes just vows, a minister and music. The top-priced package is the “Circus Spectacular”, which costs $975 on weekends. It includes – along with the chapel, minister, music and garter – 2 nights in a standard room, gift certificates to restaurants in Circus Circus, 2 bridal bouquets and 2 boutonnieres, a video of the service and a basic photo package.
Caesar’s Hotel & Casino – Wedding packages here are extensive, and range from $1,500 at the low end to $15,000 at the high end. This hotel also offers a traditional Jewish ceremony, which isn’t necessarily very easy to find in Vegas. If you’re looking for a special wedding and cost is no issue, consider the $15,000 La Dolce Vita package. It includes all the basics, such as the chapel, the minister, $1,800 worth of flowers and a large photography package. This package also includes, however, 2 nights in a Caesar’s luxury suite, breakfast in bed, four passes to the day spa, a couple’s massage, romantic dinner for two at any of the hotel’s restaurants, tickets to Celine Dion’s Las Vegas show, and champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries delivered on your wedding night.
